Head of Events

As Head of Events, you will be responsible for reimagining what events can do for creators and culture. You'll own the strategy, planning, and execution of Substack's brand events portfolio—from flagship brand moments to intimate creator gatherings—while growing and managing a talented team of strategists & producers.

As a leader on the Communications & Brand team, you’ll embrace what makes Substack experiences magical while building a scalable events engine. You will be responsible for translating key brand and market narratives into compelling in-person experiences, creating events that spark conversation and drive impact. This is a high-visibility role with significant impact, ideal for someone interested in working with some of the most interesting voices in culture in a fast-moving environment.

This role reports to the Head of Communications & Brand and is based in New York or Los Angeles.

About You:

Substack offers a competitive compensation package that includes salary, equity, and exceptional benefits. The salary range for this role is $215,000-$260,00, with final offers based on experience and expertise.
