ASEAN is one of Mistral’s most important and fastest-growing markets in APAC. We’re looking for a Field Marketing Manager to build and lead our marketing presence across ASEAN, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
This is a highly entrepreneurial role and a new position within the team. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how Mistral shows up across a diverse set of markets — from Singapore and Indonesia to Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Taiwan — working closely with regional sales, global marketing, partners, customers, and senior stakeholders.
You’ll bring together two important parts of our go-to-market strategy.
First, sovereign and public sector. You’ll help build trusted relationships with government and public sector organizations through thoughtful executive engagement, policy-led conversations, roundtables, and high-touch experiences.
Second, enterprise growth. You’ll work with sales to build demand and accelerate opportunities across some of the region’s most important and highly regulated organizations, including financial institutions, telecommunications companies, energy businesses, and other strategic accounts.
This is an opportunity to build the playbook rather than inherit one. You’ll have significant ownership over strategy and execution, with the autonomy to experiment, move quickly, and see a direct connection between your work and Mistral’s growth in the region.
What you'll do
Create exceptional field experiences
Own the strategy and execution of regional events, industry conferences, executive briefings, customer experiences, and intimate leadership gatherings.
Develop experiences that go beyond traditional events — creating meaningful conversations between Mistral, customers, partners, and industry leaders.
Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, from developing the program concept to being on-site to make it happen.
Craft the regional marketing strategy
Develop and execute Mistral’s field marketing strategy across ASEAN, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, translating global priorities into locally relevant programs.
Work closely with regional sales leadership to identify market opportunities, priority accounts, and the programs that can have the greatest commercial impact.
Build scalable approaches that can work across diverse markets while retaining the local relevance needed to engage customers effectively.
Establish a clear view of marketing performance, from engagement and account penetration through to pipeline and revenue contribution.
Build trusted relationships with government and public sector
Create high-touch marketing programs for government and public sector audiences, including executive roundtables, policy discussions, VIP briefings, and delegation visits.
Help position Mistral as a credible and trusted partner in conversations around AI, technology, sovereignty, and digital transformation.
Work closely with sales and leadership to create meaningful engagement with senior government and public sector stakeholders.
Accelerate strategic enterprise accounts
Partner with enterprise sales teams to develop account-based marketing strategies across priority accounts.
Create highly targeted 1:1 and 1:few campaigns designed to open doors, deepen relationships, and accelerate complex sales cycles.
Develop programs for strategic accounts across industries such as financial services, telecommunications, energy, and other regulated sectors.
Connect campaigns, events, content, and executive engagement into cohesive account strategies that move opportunities forward.
Support the regional ecosystem
Develop joint marketing and go-to-market programs with strategic partners, including systems integrators, telcos, technology partners, and global service providers.
Work with partners to extend Mistral’s reach across fragmented markets and create new opportunities for customer engagement.
Identify new partnership opportunities that can strengthen Mistral’s position across the region.
Bring the region's voice to Mistral
Represent the needs, insights, and opportunities of ASEAN, Hong Kong, and Taiwan within the global marketing organization.
Partner with Product Marketing and Demand Generation to adapt global messaging, campaigns, and assets for local markets.
Bring a deep understanding of local customer needs, cultures, regulations, and competitive dynamics to inform our global strategy.
Identify what is working in-market and turn those learnings into repeatable approaches across the region.
What we're looking for
Experience in field marketing, demand generation, regional marketing, or GTM within enterprise B2B technology, software, AI, infrastructure, or a related environment.
Strong experience working across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and/or Taiwan, with an understanding of the different commercial and cultural dynamics across these markets.
Experience marketing to enterprise, regulated, or public sector audiences, ideally with exposure to financial services, telecommunications, energy, or government.
Experience creating high-touch executive programs such as roundtables, VIP briefings, customer events, or policy-focused engagements.
Strong understanding of account-based marketing, with the ability to build programs around strategic accounts and complex enterprise sales cycles.
Experience developing joint GTM or co-marketing programs with partners such as GSIs, telcos, hyperscalers, or technology providers.
A strong commercial mindset and ability to connect marketing activity to account engagement, pipeline, and business outcomes.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior sales leaders, customers, partners, and executives.
A strong communicator and storyteller who can represent Mistral confidently with senior audiences.
Someone who is highly adaptable and comfortable working across different cultures, markets, and ways of doing business.
A hands-on operator who enjoys moving between strategy and execution and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
High ownership and low ego: you’re comfortable creating structure where there isn’t one, making decisions quickly, and taking responsibility for the outcome.
